I've been looking into online 3D printing services. I didn't realize there was such a wide range of materials available.
You can print plastic widgets, ceramic ornaments, silver jewelry, stainless steel parts and lots more stuff.
I thought it would be useful to pull together an overview of the available materials into the 3D Printing Materials Guide.
I've included lots of videos so you can see how the processes work and what the end result 3d printed objects look like. Lots of fun to be had here for amateur designers and small businesses. Or you can just get someone else's design printed if you're not a designer.
